Jared was born in Mt. Kisco, New York on December 14, 1965 and grew up in Lewisboro, New York. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from Mercy College in 1988 and his Juris Doctorate from the Franklin Pierce Law Center in 1993. He is admitted to practice before the State and Federal courts of New Hampshire, the Federal court in Vermont, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Jared joined Abramson, Brown & Dugan in 1996.

Jared is an active, sustaining member of the New Hampshire Association for Justice formerly known as the New Hampshire Trial Lawyers Association and has served as Editor of the Association's Law Journal, Trial Bar News, since 2000. Jared is currently serving as Chairman of the New Hampshire Association for Justice’s Trial Bar News Committee and assists the association with various legislative issues. He is also a member of the Manchester (NH) Bar Association and The American Association for Justice, formerly known as the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.

Jared has been on the faculty of the following legal education seminars: “Litigation with Nilsson and DeBenedetto” (NHTLA), 2nd Annual Pierce Law Seminar;”  “2006 New Hampshire Insurance Adjuster’s Annual Conference;” “Demonstrative AIDS/Computer Generated Animations” (Charles C. Doe Inn of Court); 17th Annual Conference of the Brain Injury Association of New Hampshire;” and Medical Malpractice in New Hampshire (NBI).

In addition to his civil litigation experience, Jared has significant experience with appellate litigation, having argued cases before the New Hampshire Supreme Court, the Maine Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. 

Jared's fourteen years of practicing law have been devoted to representing plaintiffs in medical malpractice and personal injury cases.
