Alleged Exeter Hospital Hepatitis C Infector May Have Been Infected 2 Years Earlier

A recent hepatitis C case involving the Baltimore VA Hospital may link David Kwiatkowski to his contraction of hepatitis C in 2008. If the link between Kwiatkowski and the 2008 hepatitis C infection is shown to be true, it may mean Kwiatkowski had been infected at least two years prior than previously thought. The Baltimore VA has acknowledged that Kwiatkowski was a travelling medical technician at the VA in 2008.
Obviously, this may mean many more patients may have been exposed to the potentially deadly virus than previously thought.
